1960

Operations Research Group

Founded by Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, with a mission to bring statistical rigour and modern computing to Indian business and governance.
1963-1990

Building the Discipline

Pioneered retail audits in India and grew into one of the country's leading research organizations.
1991-2001

Establishing ORG-MARG

A period of restructuring and growth following the merger of ORG and MARG, with expansion into Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
2002

AC Nielsen ORG-MARG

AC Nielsen merged with ORG-MARG in India, combining global research standards with deep local expertise.
2004

Re-established

Senior professionals came together to re-establish ORG India as an independent research and consulting organization.
2020-Present

Modern Intelligence

Field network of 51 locations across India, with continued expansion into Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.
